Celebrating the Generosity of the Farrokh Captain Family: TNF Akhuwat Boarding School Holds Dormitory Block Inauguration
In recognition of the Farrokh Captain family’s generous contributions, The Noorani Foundation bestowed the name “Farrokh Captain Dormitory Block Hall” upon the dormitory block at TNF Akhuwat Boarding School, Faisalabad, during a special ceremony held on November 14th, 2023. The esteemed Chief Guests, Mrs. Spenta Captain Kandawalla (Chairperson, Captain Industries) and Ms. Tushna Kandawalla (CEO, Captain Industries), along with other distinguished members of Captain PQ Chemical Industries’ leadership, graced the occasion with their presence. Upon their arrival, they were warmly welcomed by the chairman of The Noorani Foundation, Mr. Tasneem Noorani, Principal Tariq Saleem, and the school’s senior management.
A guided tour of the school provided the guests with an opportunity to inspect the dormitory block and other facilities firsthand.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran and a stirring Milli Naghma, setting the stage for an uplifting and meaningful event. The Chairman of TNF then delivered a poignant speech, sharing heartfelt memories and reflections on Mr. Farrokh Captain’s extraordinary life and contributions. The event was further enriched by an energetic P.T. Display and captivating gymnastics performances by the school’s talented students, adding a touch of vibrancy and excitement to the proceedings.
Following the captivating performances, the guests were invited to partake in a delightful lunch. As the event drew to a close, Mrs. Spenta Kandawalla delivered a heartfelt speech, weaving inspirational anecdotes from Mr. Farrokh Captain’s life to motivate and encourage the students. The ceremony concluded with the presentation of souvenirs to the esteemed guests, marking a fitting end to a memorable and impactful occasion.
